Wealth management

Short-term requirements

To meet short-term requirements, we use assets with predetermined returns to ensure that you can meet expenses, usually within 10 years.

These include:

  • Cash and short-term deposits
  • Gilts
  • National Savings
  • Guaranteed investment bonds

The mix of short-term assets is adjusted each year in line with the financial plan, so that you should always have sufficient liquidity to meet any anticipated liabilities as they arise.
