Carolyn joined Bloomsbury Financial Planning as the business's first female financial planner in May 2003. She has been in the financial services sector since 1987 and was formerly a director of west country investment firm Charteris.

Carolyn has been successful in the prestigious Money Management Financial Planner of the Year Awards, most recently winning the coveted ‘Overall Financial Planner of the Year’ award in the 2006 competition. In previous years she has won the following categories: ‘Investment Trust Planner of the Year’ in 2001, 2004 and 2005, and ‘Retirement Planner of the Year’ in 2003. Carolyn was also a finalist in the 2005 Woman Financial Adviser of the Year awards.

As well as holding the Certified Financial PlannerCM accreditation she is also a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Planning and holds the Investment Management Certificate. Carolyn specialises in portfolio management.
